Sitar maestro Pt Ravi Shankar dies in San Diego at 92 |

| Noted sitar maestro Pt Ravi Shankar has died at the age of 92. Mr Shankar was in California for surgery. Mr Shankar was among India's best known contemporary musicians and played with international stars such as The Beatles. He received three Grammy awards and was competing against daughter Anoushka Shankar, also a sitar player, for another Grammy in 2013. Video courtesy: NDTV | ||
